Stories from the Waterways - The Spirit of the Shannon
Delighted to premier the first of the 2022 Stories from the Waterways film series, an initiative of the Waterways Ireland Heritage Plan. This year we focus on how our shared inland waterways inspire individuals and groups. In this film we join Christy Cunniffe as he explains how early religions, spirituality and folklore were inspired by the Shannon. To this day we are calmed by being around water.
