Attempts to follow and understand the codes from the proceeding paper in rice monitoring. The article summarizes most of the important concepts to be aware about the rice monitoring process using sentinel-1. The main idea is in utilizing the changes in the backscattering of VV and VH during crop growth stages. The further advantages are in its usefulness in creating rice crop maps using GEE and sentinel-1 data. This is an open access paper and the codes have been shared in the article.
