Rovers and Trust come together to support the Salvation Army!

Blackburn Rovers and the club’s official charity, BRCT, have come together to show their support for the Salvation Army. The Salvation Army have a Lifehouse (Bramwell House) in Blackburn, located on Heaton Street, is an accommodation unit for 55 homeless people and their aim is to enable people to make positive life changes and ultimately empower them to lead more sustainable lifestyles. On Thursday 19th September, Bramwell House will be participating in an annual five-a-side football tournament in Manchester against other like-minded organisations to raise awareness for those living in unfit conditions and facing being homeless. To help with preparation for next week’s competition, Blackburn Rovers and Blackburn Rovers Community Trust offered our Indoor Centre facilities as a base for them to use to train for the past two weeks free of charge, with a coaching session from one of the Trust’s qualified Academy coaches.
