After 7.678 km (4770 mi) the mid drive suddenly started to give a creaking noise. When I disassembled, it was revealed that there were several cracks on the torque sensor, which made this scary sound. I have already repaired several such mid engines before. There were times when the sensor wire rubbed out due to a factory assembly failure. Several times the wire broke off the stator. Once the tabs holding the rotating coil broke, causing the sensor wires to snap. In this video, I show pictures of each of these errors.
