Hampta pass trek is one of the most beautiful trek in Himachal and it’s is suitable for people who are beginners in trekking .The pass includes vertical rock walls, waterfalls, hanging glaciers, pinewoods, rhododendron forests, open meadows, and small lakes, as well as 6000 metre tall peaks such as Mt. Deo Tibba and Mount Indrasan. Wildflowers and herbs grow between 3000 meters to 3800 meters.Depending on individual how far you can go normally people with travel agent they took 3 to 4 days to complete as we volunteer for self trek we complete trek in four days with back load trekking essentials . The nearest town is Manali which is 14 km away from base camp .Usually trekker complete this trek by chikka , balu ka ghera and then chatru but we did another way chikka , balu ka ghera , Sumit and then came back to balu ka ghera ,base camp and yeah if you wish to do another trek along with hampta ,you can go to chandratal lake which is after chatru!!!!
