Disney Wish 3 Night Bahamian Cruise | Wish Deluxe Family Oceanview Verandah Room Tour

Come along with me for another Disney Cruise! I'm sailing on the Disney Wish out of Port Canaveral for a 3 night Bahamian cruise with stops in Nassau, Bahamas and Castaway Cay. 0:00-0:25 Introduction 0:26-1:07 Onboarding Shortly after boarding the ship, we headed up to Marceline Market to grab some lunch. This is a large buffet style dining option open for breakfast and lunch. They have a wide variety of cuisines and options available. 1:08-4:48 Stateroom Tour We stayed in a Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah on deck 8. This is the largest stateroom available besides the suites. This stateroom sleeps 4-5 people and features a queen bed, a single sofa bed, and a single pull down bed. 4:49-5:40 Nightingale's Our first night onboard kicked off with a cocktail at Nightingale's. This is a Cinderella themed champagne piano bar. This lounge had my favorite drink of the whole cruise. 5:41-7:04 Worlds of Marvel Dinner The first dinner onboard was at Worlds of Marvel. This is an interactive dining experience with Ant Man and Wasp. 7:05-11:14 Day 2 Nassau Day 2 of the cruise was a port stop in Nassau, Bahamas. We decided to stay on the ship to explore and enjoy its offerings, including the adult only pool area. 11:15-12:06 Arendelle Dinner Our second dinner was at Arendelle, which is a Frozen dining experience. This was my favorite dinner of the whole cruise. The theming was incredible and the show was fun. Each of the Frozen characters including, Anna, Elsa, Christoph, Oaken and Olaf made their way through the dining room after the dinner show. 12:07-12:41 Pirate Night Pirate Night kicked off with a pirate deck party and finished with fireworks at sea. 12:42-13:53 Day 3 Castaway Cay The last full day of this cruise was at Castaway Cay. Castaway Cay is Disney's private island in the Bahamas. This island is separated into three sections. The adult only section, Serenity Bay, is located the furthest away. Serenity Bay features its own bar, beach, cabanas, and bbq spot for lunch. 13:54-15:04 Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge We grabbed a drink in Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge before our last dinner onboard. This lounge is themed to Star Wars. It has a really cool entrance, but I wasn't impressed by the inside of the lounge. 15:05-16:03 1923 Dinner Our last dinner onboard was at 1923. This dining location is split into two sides. One side is the Walt Disney side, and the other side is the Roy Disney side. 1923 celebrates the very beginnings of the Walt Disney Company in California with old Hollywood elegance. Staying true to the theme, there are tons of animation artifacts on display including sculptures, sketches, and props. 16:04-17:44 Overall Review Overall, we had a great time sailing on the Wish, but this was my least favorite Disney cruise. This was my first 3 night cruise, and it just went too quick. There wasn’t enough time to fully enjoy the ship. I’ve done this same route on a 4 night Disney cruise, and having that extra day at sea makes a big difference. I don’t think I’d personally ever sail on the Wish again. This ship felt more geared towards families with kids than the other Disney ships. The ship is absolutely gorgeous and they did a phenomenal job on decor, but I did feel a bit crowded by the amount of people onboard. Overall, it was still a great little getaway, and I’m glad we got to try out the Wish.
