IgG4 related disease a challenge in the diagnosis

Short description This webinar focused on the challenges of diagnosing IgG4-related disease, including the epidemiological features that may help suspect IgG4-related disease, the most common clinical presentations, suggestive laboratory abnormalities, typical pathology, and imaging features. Moreover, the webinar covered the disease phenotypes and recently published classification criteria. The final part of the webinar was devoted to updates on therapeutic approaches. All resources and more info about IgG4-RDs can be found here: reconnet.ern-net.eu/disease-igg4/ Speakers Dr. Della Torre earned his Medical Degree, a Board Certification in Allergy and Clinical Immunology, and a PhD in Basic and Applied Immunology at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan (Italy). Dr. Della Torre worked for 3 years at the Rheumatology Unit of the Massachusetts General Hospital, at the Ragon Institute of MGH, at MIT, and at Harvard in Boston (US). In 2018, Dr. Della Torre returned to Italy and established his lab at San Raffale Hospital (Milan, Italy). Currentlly, Dr. Della Torre is Assistant Professor of Rheumatology at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University and Senior Rheumatology Consultant at San Raffaele Hospital. Dr. Della Torre authored more than 100 scientific publications and achieved prestigious awards such as the Career Research Grant Award from the Foundation for Research in Rheumatology (FOREUM). Dr. Della Torre contributed to the characterization of IgG4-related disease and is currently coordinating the IgG4-related disease Working Group for ERN-ReCONNET.
