The PRO version meets protection level 2 (EN 1621 level 2) in the areas of chest, back and shoulder and includes: • Removable shoulder protectors • Protected chest and back areas feature slim, removable EVA inserts for maximum protection • Upper rib protection is also integrated As the name suggests, the LITE version relies on lightweight parts, without additional EVA foam inserts, offering enough protection with maximum comfort and great freedom-of-movement. Both versions can be combined easily with a Neck Brace and are size-adjustable in the shoulder and waist areas. With the addition of a back strap, available soon separately, you have the option with both protectors to use only the chest part or an individual single back protector with the strap. Currently, the O'NEAL SPLIT Protector is available in a size that is recommended for riders with a body length of 1.70 m or more. From 2023, an additional size for adult riders under 1.70 m and a youth version will be available.
