We have studied before how to construct a right circular cylinder by using four centre method ellipse if the diameter of the cylinder and height is given.Here in this pictorial view we will construct the same way the isometric view of a cylinder and in addition we will see how the drilled hole can be drawn to make the view as a hollow cylinder.Mark Front arrow for the observer from right side.Draw a box construction for the cylinder 60×60×100 mm i.e. L×W×H in millimeters.Construct centre lines on the Top square surface 60×60 mm.The centre lines are chain thin lines both are at 30°.Construct big diagonal at the top square.Then draw lines joining big angle to front centre.We will get points on the big diagonal.These points are centres for drawing small radius on the top surface.The big angle's corner itself is a centre for big radiis.Like this way the top circular surface in isometric is drawn.Now draw bottom diagonal parallel to upper which is at 100 mm apart.The bottom square also can be marked with centre lines.The main thing here to remember is that which is the centre and from where to where or up to which point the radius is to be marked.Also keep in mind that only the visible curves to be drawn dark and the circular edge going back will be hidden.Complete the cylinder by drawing right and left touching lines of cylinder.For drawing inner small drill hole the same top centre line and diagonal is used.Only the construction of 30 mm square is made.This circular hole also is constructed with four centre ellipse method.Only the top two circle diameter & height dimension of the object is given.Like this way completed the figure.
