According to Tech Disc when I am throwing into a net, I should be able to throw a Buzz 370ft. Let's take it to the field again and talk about how that can lead to wrong expectations and why having a good baseline distance is more important. Having an idea of your top speed and spin (65mph and 1300rpm as my top throw as a 54 year old man) is great to know what your body is capable of and where you may be able to work on getting better power and release, but at the end of the day Tech Disc is a tool to inform and help, but it is not a perfect one to one ratio with reality. You have to get out in the field or course and find out what your real world regular (baseline) distance is. That is what you are going to be working with when you are actually playing. So use the Tech Disc ( I love it!) but then bring it back to reality... and don't forget to have fun!
