Cover the pudding tin with a lid or an aluminium foil so that no evaporated water falls on the pudding.. I am also going to poke a few holes on the aluminium foil using a fork. Now, place the tin in a steamer and steam for around 20 minutes until itโ€™s done. After about 20 minutes, turn off the flame and check it with a toothpick and see if it comes out clean, to check if itโ€™s fully cooked. Once the toothpick comes out clean, de-mould it carefully and refrigerate the pudding, before you cut and serve it! This pudding is extremely soft, layered and delicious and will melt in your mouth.. Serve chilled!
