Souls-like Character Controller [GODOT 3.2.2] - #1 The beginning

This is my first attempt to recreate a 3rd Person Character Controller in Godot Engine 3.2.2. In this video I show the foundamentals: camera movement, player locomotion, running, rolling, aiming, basic combo and stance system. This is a work in progress and I used mixamo animations just for demonstrative purposes: when I will reach a satisfying result, I'll begin to create my own assets: so at this stage I didn't care a lot about the quality of animations. My long-term aim is to build a decent 3d 3rdP animation driven game, inspired by the so called 'souls-like genre' in GODOT: this mean that the timer system that regulates animations (especially the combos) will be definitive only with definitive animations, due to timing. I am not a professonal programmer, so I wil share the codes only when they will be clean and readable and any help is well accepted. _________________________ GODOT ENGINE is a free and open source game engine, with a great community.
