Daniel Smith Turquoise Watercolors Study / Join me in this color study of four Daniel Smith Turquoise Watercolors. Sleeping Beauty Turquoise Genuine, Amazonite Genuine, Ultramarine Turquoise, and Pthalo Blue Turquoise. I will swatch a value scale and do color mixes with real time reactions. This color study is focused on how these yellows mix with Quinacridone and Pthalo colors, these are the colors I especially love to paint with, and they have a very high tinting/mixing strength so will be good indicators of how these turquoise colors mix in general. Additionally I tried to mix the colors as consistently as my experience level allows, to get a similar range of color mixes for comparisons. I primarily paint with watercolor pours and wet on wet applications so my opinions expressed are reflecting that type of application.
