Welcome to my easy, self-reliant Dhuum condition heal scourge kiter guide/walkthrough. This video is intended to help those who want to try out kiting on Dhuum and bring big value to casual/training groups. Please pause the video if you have trouble keeping up with the text. I realise that Dhuum was phased quite early in this example (most pug groups/training groups will take longer) as we had some decent DPS pumpers and ran solo heal mechanist. Just rinse and repeat for the remainder of the fight - do your next G2 (next one is at 3:00 at triangle marker) and continue to kite the golems if your fight takes longer than this one. Make sure to buy Tahlkora's armour set (it is Shaman's stats) as it is cheaper than the Exalted armour set) and the rare version of magi's stat accessories: http://gw2skills.net/editor/?PSwEsE+r... What about staff or full Magi's instead? Crap damage. Don't run those. What if I need to corrupt boons on Dhuum because no one else can? Run Ghastly Breach and Well of Corruption (instead of Sand Swell). Save Sceptre 3 for boon corruption as well. So why run this build? + Does respectable DPS - it has enough damage and cleave to solo clear the spiders at star so the DPS players can monke brain focus on the boss + Has 30k hp - enough to facetank a hit from Dhuum / green bombs in close proximity + Has enough boon duration and the Banshee's Wail trait (Blood Magic traitline) to maintain permanent swiftness to outrun golems without superspeed orbs + Has enough healing power to self-sustain, provide barrier for allies and heal the reapers + Has a readily available source of condition clear (Nefarious Favour) + Has the mobility needed to kite safely, and do multiple markers during 10% phase if a backup is needed + Flesh Wurm to act as a meat shield for the reaper at star + Tranfusion (Blood Magic traitline), Well of Blood (Blood Magic traitline) and Signet of Undeath = huge ressing power + Easy to tag golems using Manifest Sand Shade (ground targeted so no need need to click on golem, 1080 range, AoE, gives barrier to yourself, and once the animation starts no line of sight is needed unlike druid or tempest auto attacks) + Great for pugs/training groups as it means the traditional kite healer (druid or tempest) can stay with the rest of the group to heal (if most groups run two healers, makes it safer for the second one to be around to heal rather than kiting a golem away from the group) + Great for Dhuum CM, as you can take care of the star reaper yourself without the tank needing to tank around star - even better if scourges on your team drop their Flesh Wurms in front of star as well! When should you not run this build? - When you need to do tryhard speedrun strats or something - If you're in a static that clears Dhuum using a set comp (usually a druid)
