In the year 2018, the commission issued an advertisement for the recruitment of 10768 posts of LT grade teachers in 15 subjects. This recruitment has been completed. At that time the recruitment was done through one stage examination. There were also allegations of social science and Hindi subject paper out in the examination, which was investigated by the STF. However, the STF gave a clean chit and the recruitment was also completed. Despite this, about four thousand posts remained vacant in the old recruitment. The commission is now preparing to start a new recruitment process and the commission has also received requisition for about five thousand posts. There is a possibility of paper out or other irregularities in the one-stage examination. Keeping this in mind, a few days ago the commission decided that now no recruitment examination will be held in one phase. LT grade teacher recruitment is also coming under this purview. This time for LT grade recruitment first preliminary exam and then the main exam will be conducted. The final selection result will be released on the basis of the main examination only. The officers of the commission have also confirmed this. Now the commission is waiting to clarify the status related to the qualification from the education department so that after the start of the recruitment, there is no dispute about the qualification.
