My favorite Resorts in the Maldives: GILI LANKANFUSHI

While in the Maldives, I stayed at the beautiful Gilli Lankanfushii Resort. It is absolutely breathtaking! They offer complementary boat shuttle from the airport to your hotel. Once on the boat, they take your shoes and put them in a bag. Their motto is no shoes no news! No one on the island wore shoes. It was my kind of Heaven! All their rooms are over the water. You can either stay in one that you can walk to from the island, or one of their Crusoe Villas located in the middle of the lagoon. A boat is required to get to or from. I stayed in the Crusoe rooms and didnt like it very well at first. I hated having to call for a pickup when ever I wanted to explore, but I soon fell in love with the island. It felt as if I was the only one in the world and was able to enjoy my paradise in solitude! All rooms have bycycles that you can ride around the island and explore. My room came with a breakfast buffet as well as dinner. Every night they offered a different exotic menu, you can enjoy a tasting menu or order ala carte. they offer a beautiful pool, spa, enjoy coctails at sunset at their bar, explore their local village, scuba dive, snorkel, plenty to keep you buysy and entertained.
