So, at the beginning of the year, Rings Of Saturn announced the departure of ma boiii Mike Caputo and that they were looking for a drummer to tour later this year. Being a fan of Rings since the OG days, I couldn't skip this one. So, 3 days later, literally having not played the song AT ALL, I entered the studio. After 2 takes, I felt the next one was THE ONE! So, as you can see at the start of this video, I went full on ULTIMATE WARRIOR and called upon the Gods. I dunno if they really did anything at all, but this take was... THE ONE. The video was sent soon after and the wait started. A few weeks later, I got a message from Lucas. Hoping for the best, I opened his messaged. He said they LOVED the video alot, Unfortunetely, I am not a resident of the Motherland, so they decided to go with someone US based. For anyone who is a musician and knows anything about touring the States, you know the drill. The choice was obvious. I wanna thank Lucas and Joel for taking the time to watch my audition video and for the kind words shared. It was a fun challenge and I loved relearning this song with the one and only LORD MARCO's parts (I hope you like my take on the song, my dude! I know there's a few mistakes. We left them there to be TrVe.) Maybe we'll work together in the future, who knows? Until then, I thank you guys once more for the opportunity! I am very grateful!
