Walking around the beautiful Bogotá campus of the National University of Colombia. Although the institution goes back to 1867, when it was originally founded under the goverment of Manuel María de los Santos Acosta, the present location and most buldings date from the 1930s. The roads inside the university grounds were designed to resemble an owl (notice the map at the beginning). Paseando por la Ciudad Universitaria, como se conoce al campus de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia en Bogotá. Si bien la institución se remonta a 1867, cuando fue fundada bajo el gobierno de Manuel María de los Santos Acosta, la ubicación actual y la mayoría de las edificaciones datan de la década de 1930. Los caminos fueron diseñados para parecerse a un búho (véase el mapa al principio).
