Issues to consider include: -- High fees (that could instead be invested in Bitcoin) -- Is insurance coverage sufficient? -- Even if insurance coverage is sufficient, who else shares in that limited pool of payouts? -- Are there insurance payout loopholes in the fine print? -- Can you trust the company that is holding your private keys? The whole point of holding Bitcoin is to hold your own private keys, and thus eliminate the trust and counter-party risk that exists in the traditional fiat financial system. "Not your keys, not your coins." I also don't like the idea of sticking my Bitcoin into a legal structure that forces me or my descendants to take withdrawals (RMD=required minimum distributions) sell, or pay taxes on it. I'm focused on Bitcoin for the next 10 generations. Right now, the stepped-up cost basis rules protect Bitcoiners when they pass on their Bitcoin to their children.
