In this edition of STAR Paths we chat with School Psychologist, Mariah Koons. Mariah worked for nine years as a School Psychologist in a public school setting where she provided comprehensive assessments and counseling services for children and adolescents in a K-12 setting. In 2023, she earned her license to conduct services privately and opened her practice, Attunement Counseling & Assessment in Granville, Ohio. Her mission is to create a safe, inclusive, and compassionate space where her clients can explore their true potential and overcome challenges. Mariah is an expert in navigating the world of special education and is trained to assess for learning disabilities, giftedness and twice exceptionality, dyslexia, and ADHD. She offers individual counseling services and Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) as well.
