Rated “Best Expedition River” in Eastern Canada: the Moisie River rises in the immense lakes south of Labrador (Newfoundland) to flow into the Gulf of St. Lawrence in the “Côte-Nord” region of Quebec. Inside this corridor, the rivers Moisie and tributaries are fully protected from all forms of industrial exploitation. The Reserve territory is protected from all forms of logging, mining and energy production.
