Hello and welcome to the motorway man and welcome to my new series where I will be showing you some of the fine Cities and Towns across the UK. I'll be explaining some basic information, giving a brief history, recommending my top 5 things to do while you're there and I'll finish off by giving easy simple directions so you can see these great place for yourself. Today, we will be looking at the City of Chester. Chester was originally built by the Romans back in the first century. This makes Chester a very old city. There are lots of Roman artefacts still remaining however that you can go and see! Chester, as well as all it's Roman links, is also famous for its river (the river Dee) and Cathedral.
