Petronas Dagangan Allocates RM2.2 Mln For ChargEV Points

Petronas Dagangan Bhd has allocated RM 2.2 million to install electric car charging station, ChargEV, in 66 stations along the major highways in the peninsular, this year. Its CEO, Mohd Ibrahimnuddin Mohd Yunus, said these were in addition to the 10 Petronas stations it had already installed with the ChargEV stations. He said this after the launch of ChargEV facility at Petronas Solaris station, officiated by The Minister Of Energy, Green Technology and Water, Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili, earlier today. The government targets to set up 25,000 charging points, nationwide, by 2030. To date, there were 155 ChargEV points, and the number is expected to increase to 300 by year-end.
