If a weapon with a counter attack or guard is used, the new moves add nothing to the fight so the same strategy from the lower ranks apply . The same can't be said for weapons without the ability to guard. So more patience and peek-a-boo tactics are needed until khezu falls over or does an attack with a large opening to exploit. I'm hoping to get the special cut needed for the final form of the eager cleaver. But three khezus in and it didn't drop. The reward box, which usually brings joy, brought me despair.
