In this video, we have shared our 3 days of camping experience at Alouette Campgrounds in Golden Ears Provincial Park. The weekend is supposed to be bright and sunny. On Friday - we finished work, packed our tent and camping gear in an hour and started for Alouette Lake. There are three front-country campgrounds in Golden Ears - Alouette, North Beach and Gold Creek. We stayed at Alouette Campgrounds, site#A68 and honestly, it is not highly recommended as it sits right on the crossroads and beside the washroom. It can get pretty noisy and the flush sounds are annoying at night. However, we had no choice as we just secured a last-minute cancellation. As there was no rain in the forecast, we did not put up any tarp/overhead shelter and on the 3rd morning, we woke up to the sounds of rain - it was just pouring over. Packing the wet tent and other gears back was definitely not fun.
