CMTL 2024 #6 @ SH KARTING, Briggs Master Final

Started on pole and won the race! My buddy from the 2000s karting era, Vincent Novak, pushed me the whole race as we ran away from the pack. Around lap 12-13 I managed to get a few kart lenghts on him, but at lap 16 my tires got to hot and he started closing in on me very quickly. During the last lap he was right there in my bumper but I was ready as I knew exactly where I needed to defend. Congrats to him for a great season. This was my first win in Coupe de Montréal, it was long overdue but that made it even sweeter. After this race, my dad Mario Martin won the championship and I finished 2nd! Considering I was 8th before this race I was really surprised but It was a dream come true once again with a father and son 1-2.
