Fondly called as ‘Ballu’, Balvinder Singh Sandhu started off as an off-spinner but, thanks to the intervention of legendary coach Ramakant Achrekar, found himself being forced to bowl ‘Medium Pace’ for hours on end in the nets of Mumbai’s iconic cricket pitches. In this podcast, he regaled us with stories of the spaces he grew up in, the friends he played with in his formative years, his successes and failures.
