Come along on a dual sport ride with me and my friends on the 2023 HOOCH ride in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Forest roads and single tracks with a few interviews and mishaps along the way including a slow-speed crash into a tree which was totally my fault due to wrong eye placement, improper rear brake pedal positioning, and using my front brake when I should not have even touched the lever. Easily avoidable but a great lesson of how proper gear makes a difference. I walked away without any sort of injury or soreness the next day. Make sure to wear All The Gear All The Time (ATGATT). This video is dedicated to the memory of Dale Brooks. Dale inspired many riders at many of the Hooch rides, the latest in 2022, where he led the morning biker prayers and also participated in the event itself. May he rest and ride in peace.
