Among other advocacy, Ben, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s when he was 29, has served on patient advisory boards, co-authored books with movement disorder specialists, and participated in clinical trial. Recently, Ben participated in research where he experienced adaptive DBS, and this was a topic the panel discussed at length during the meetup.
