The Documentry was Prepared by Government of Nepal, Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Department of Roads, Hilsa-Simikot Road Project. Humla was not connected by road network. Hilsa is the Border of China with Nepal. China already had blacktopped road upto Hilsa from their side. So, GoN decided to link the Simikot, the district headquarter of Humla from China border, Hilsa and established Hilsa-Simikot Road Project office in Simikot of Humla District in the Year 2013. I was appointed as Project Manager to establish the Project office in order to construct the 90 Km long Hilsa-Simikot Road. Immediately establishing the project office at Humla in F/Y 069-70, I had a walk through from Simikot to Hilsa on foot. Then I thought to make a baseline Documentry Video so as to record a visual history of the Geography, Topography, Society of the route.
