Latest Kodibuntu running live to show upgrade process to 14.2 or subsequent versions as well as installation of The Arb community build. All this was run on 2g of ram on an old 2.4ghz Pentium 4, and ATI hd card with a dual boot Ubuntu/Win7 installed on hard drive...hard drive is never accessed, used or utilized. I am using Windows 7 to download and burn disc only... I am not installing to hard drive. Same process can be used to get unstable and nightly versions. As of this video i got Kodi 15.0 Beta 1 from nightly repo and Kodi 15.0 Alpha 2 from unstable repo. Kodibuntu has been running great for me and have used it for latest videos. Running this os live has allowed me to try unstable releases, community builds ....really try anything i want without worry if system crashes. I am going to a usb boot...install Kodibuntu on a flash drive since i'm getting a little tired of starting from scratch... One obvious advantage to running live is speed, the other...trying new things out before installing. Once you have a set-up you like you can easily install Kodi to usb flash drive without using any additional installers, i.e. Unetbootin, Win disk or Universal.
