This is the recording of an online faculty development program on teaching pedagogy in the age of AI. Barad Dilip addressed the challenges of online learning and emphasized the importance of face-to-face interaction in the digital pedagogy context. He provided a comprehensive overview of the intersection between digital pedagogy and AI in education, exploring the challenges and opportunities in using AI to address the "two sigma problem" in education. Barad Dilip also delved into the challenges of evaluating descriptive answers in literature and the innovative use of chatGPT for self-assessment and writing improvement. He presented a comprehensive overview of the use of generative AI tools, particularly ChatGPT, in education, highlighting the various benefits such as personalized learning experiences, continuous improvement, and the development of customized models for specific subjects.
