Coverack, Cornwall, UK -- Full Tour (June 2024)

Today we are going to have a walk around the working fishing harbour village and tourist resort hotspot of Coverack in Cornwall, situated on the Lizard Peninsula. The walk around will take us along the seafront, down to the steps walkway to the harbour where we will see local fisherman come and unload their catches. That particular bit of footage is quite long but I left it that way deliberately so that you could capture the mood and the atmosphere as if you were actually there! Then we go towards the old slipway of the former Lifeboat Station , the building of now which operates as the Old Life House hospitality venue where people can buy takeaway or sit down food/drink from the cafe or book a table for a more substantial meal in the evenings. Next we walk around the outside of 'The Paris' Hotel, Pub and Restaurant, admiring the views out across the Bay, from the outside seating area. We then cut across the back, along a few pathways of greenery and up some quite steep steps to capture some wider views of the sea and surrounding landscape. We walk up the first part of the pathway towards the Meres (A beach on the other side of Coverack), strolling past some nice houses and taking in the sounds of the birds and wildlife who also seem to be enjoying the nice weather this morning! After that we turn around, but instead of walking back the main road route, we bear left where the old church on the hill is, walking 5 metres uphill, before turning right into a slightly hidden pathway which will take up back towards to main seafront area again.
