In this video I will show you a time lapse build of the Maverick F5K Electric Glider from FlightPoint. F5K models are getting more and more popular due to their small size and excellent flight performance. Most of them are top notch full carbon designs that come at a pretty high price. The Maverick might not be able to fully compete with all of his carbon fiber brothers when it comes to performance, but it is an easy entry into F5K class competitions at a low price and is still providing very good performance. Even if you are not interested in competition flying, the Maverick is a good choice for hobby style thermal hunting.With its small size and low weight it is a perfect choice for your after work flights on the way back home or to be put in your backpack when hiking. With a 3 piece wing and detachable stabilizers it is really easy to transport. The Maverick comes as a kit with all the needed carbon rods and tubes, accessories like CNC machined control horns, screws, pull cord, crimping sleeves and a set of high quality laser cut balsa and plywood parts combined with a 1:1 size color printed plan.
