Good Morning! Here is today’s word of blessings for you. 2 Timothy 1:7-9 7 "For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. 8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God, 9 who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began." Today’s title is The Spirit of Power, Not Fear Paul reminds Timothy that God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and self-control. As children of God, we do not need to be bound by fear. Instead, we are empowered to live boldly in faith, trusting in the strength and love that God has placed within us. May we be filled with His power, love, and self-discipline in all that we do. Paul also urges Timothy not to be ashamed of the testimony about the Lord or Paul’s imprisonment. Proclaiming the gospel may bring suffering, but we are called to endure it with the power of God. The willingness to share in suffering for the sake of the gospel is a mark of our commitment to Christ. God has saved us and called us to a holy calling, not based on our works but according to His purpose and grace. This grace was given to us in Christ Jesus before the ages began. We are called to live out this grace, reflecting God’s love and purpose in every aspect of our lives. Today, let us embrace the spirit of power, love, and self-control that God has given us, and be bold in sharing His gospel, no matter the cost.
