This overstuffed handmade grungy style junk journal, Tilly's Diary, is the nineteenth in a series of forgotten diaries. It is inspired by a long forgotten journal that was discovered many years later in an attic or a trunk. This very grungy journal has distressed edges and threads, and is filled with interesting spots to make notes. This journal contains lots of vintage ephemera, including articles from 1960's women's magazines, Workbasket magazine page from 1981, photographs, dated diary pages, vintage fabric and doily bookmark, receipts from 1960s, vintage postcards, envelope pocket postmarked 1937, rolodex page, payroll envelop, vintage lace sampler, vintage business notebook, page from geography book dated 1867, and more. There are also reproductions of vintage items and embellished tags. The pages are coffee stained paper, pages from vintage record books, ledgers and cookbooks. The journal has 86 pages (edged with fabric) in three signatures, in a 1 1/2 inch spine, with fabric pockets. The cover has a fabric and vintage lace binding, vintage fabric piece, verdigris key charm, and a muslin tie closure. The journal is 6 inches tall and 4.25 inches wide and there is only one available. Not all pages are shown. The journal is handmade and intended to have a vintage, grungy, distressed look. The journal comes gift wrapped in brown kraft paper tied with string.
