We talk about her book "Sir Arthur Evans & Minoan Crete: Creating the Vision of Knossos". She describes how the Minoan Civilization became an empire from 2000 - 1500 BC on the Greek island of Crete, their connection to the Egyptians, and about the Minoan royalty who ruled at the massive palace of Knossos. She also discusses her more personal involvement with Sir Arthur Evans through her father, prominent Greek archaeologist Spyridon Marinatos who discovered the remains of Akrotiri, Thera (Santorini). She goes into detail about Sir Arthur Evans's background, his connection to Charles Darwin, and his "Darwinian" process of excavation and restoration.
