Although he started his studies as a minister, Dr. Mitchmore soon switched his focus to dentistry (inspired by his uncle who was a dentist) and loved it! He found he could help people and enjoy the sciences too, so he put himself through dental school while working in hospital labs. Working the labs really helped Dr. Mitchmore pursue dentistry that makes people more comfortable and reduces fear. His medical knowledge led him to identify the importance of sedation and how it can improve a patient’s overall experience.
