Today we are tying the Sedotti Slammer by Mark Sedotti, one of my favorite fly tiers, who happens to be from Long Island as well. Mark's been tying big flies for big striped bass and other species for a long time and I first learned about this pattern watching him tie live back in the early 2000's. It's one of my favorite big saltwater flies to tie and fish, especially due to the lead wire keel which makes this fly easy to cast.
