💈Welcome to my Shave of The Day (SOTD)💈 Sharing my Wet Shaving Journey with you! Lea is a personal favourite of mine, the company dates back to 1823 and is still going strong. Still in the same family for 6 generations to this day. “ Lascaray S.A is one of the oldest companies in Spain, founded in 1823. In their original home province of Álava, they are indeed the oldest established company in the industry and have inspired many businesses over the past 200 years to follow in their footsteps. In 1855, Casimiro Lascaray opened a new factory with the name “La Estrella Alavesa” (Lea), which originally specialised in manufacturing olein soap alongside other products. Over the years they chose to focus in on the development of soap and detergent products. Today, they make world renowned shaving products suitable for all skin types.” - The English shaving company The Gillette Super Speed I have, has no date code thus it was manufactured in the 1940’s. Not precisely sure when in the 40’s. It is a mild razor, but super effective! The Citrus melody aftershave splash from Master Soap Creations has a fantastic citrus scent with a very cooling effect from the strong menthol! Really a must try for every wet shaver.
