At first glance the synth seems relatively straight forward, but looking closer, Mike found some really clever additions that open up the Super Six to more unusual sounds and techniques. 0:38 LFO phase control for easy stereo modulation 2:46 FM and audio rate modulation 6:01 Custom LFO waveshapes The UDO Super Six's wide and lush sound sits in a mix beautifully with the analog filter and chorus modes that are reminiscent of vintage Roland synths. It's really a unit that's difficult to pull a bad sound out of. Sounds and programming aside, the Super Six is built like a tank and clearly designed to played for many years. UDO are also still developing extra features to be enabled via firmware updates, recently teasing a new delay mode at Superbooth 2022.
