Rotating at thousands of revolutions per minute, it makes short work of dispersing centrifugal pellets or grinding small tissue samples. What differentiates BioSpec Product's BioVortexor from other pestle products is the "Spiral Pestle" that has groves that push the tissue you are trying to grind towards the tip.
