Cradle Moon Lakeside lodge offers various trails for hiking and mountain biking. The green route was a 9km relatively flat route around the circumference of the dam that is the main feature of most of the routes. The dam overflow weir is one for all the shots for the gram with this being one of the most popular during Covid lockdown. About 40 minutes from central Johannesburg, R50 conservation fees and R20 hiking fee per person. Important to note, no picnics allowed - only food bought on the premises to be consumed on the sight.
