New shop concept at Limbecker Platz in Essen: Multifunctional store design with dry-laying tiles The change from a point of sale to a point of experience is a consequence of the ever-increasing merging of online and offline trading. Shopping center operator ECE is therefore relying on a new platform for brand staging and product presentation. In its pilot store at Limbecker Platz in Essen, it presents a mixture of pop-up and concept store with changing theme and experience worlds. The rapid implementation of the multifunctional concept was made possible by an innovative system of dry-laying tiles. In addition, the floor area was architecturally integrated into the mall so that visitors are guided directly into the store.
