Scotland's No Take Zone inspires at EU Life Platform Meeting

In March 2022, COAST were invited to share their experience with strictly protected areas at the EU-Life Platform Meeting. The meeting sought to share a wide variety of Marine Protected Area management experiences towards strictly protected areas, to improve the effectiveness and relevance of European policies, and help inform the implementation of them. We believe that the recovery in Arran's Highly Protected Marine Area provides a blueprint to replicate in seas elsewhere, and were delighted to have been invited to inspire international delegates at the EU-Life Platform conference by sharing the Lamlash Bay No Take Zone success story.
