Sorry 'bout that! Final Fantasy 7 holds a very special place in my heart and the Remake couldn't have made me happier. It's one of the first games I played as a kid and everything from the characters and story to the music have influenced me in one way or another. Anyways, this one took MONTHS to make. I had started to write a medley way back in 2017, but lost the whole thing (Guitar Pro file, MIDI files, etc) when my external hard drive died on me a few months later. Fast forward to last year, decided to give it another shot since I had a new Orchestral library to play with (UVI's Orchestral Suite). Since then I have upgraded to EastWest's stuff and it made a HUGE difference, but I had to re-track everything because the articulations/crossfades don't sound or feel the same. As for the arrangements, I did put in ("steal" lmao) a few things I really enjoyed from different versions of some songs. First one would be the piano bit before "The Great Warrior", which comes from L'Orchestre de Jeux Vidéo's (Quebec represent!) FFVII Symphonic Suite. The other one is the Glockenspiel playing the intro arpeggio from JENOVA's theme during the bridge of One-Winged Angel, which came from OJV's JENOVA & Sephiroth piece. There are many others from various live orchestral versions (JAGMO, Distant Worlds, etc).
