Two new heroes have ushered in a complete meta shift with the recent update on the CN server. Andriole: An enhanced version of Gintoki, introduces a unique twist to the game. While Gintoki's act again can be triggered by the death of any allies, Andriole's act again is triggered when the ally to whom he has sworn an oath (a talent that significantly boosts the chosen ally's stats. This is actually a Dota effect that is applicable to the entire battlefield) falls in battle / makes a kill (So in other words, when the ally nominated by Andriole falls, and an ally Gintoki is present on the battlefield, there are two-act agains, as referenced by 1:39 - 2:13 +ㅅ+). Once an oath is forged, his 3C skill transforms into a formidable stealth ability, and its cooldown is reduced by 5 turns every time he successfully eliminates an enemy unit. Even if a stealth kill attempt falls short, fear not, for it subsequently triggers the act again effect ㅇ0ㅇ. When act again activates, Andriole's HP is fully restored and he treats every terrain type as plains + attacks before the enemy. Combined with his 1C active skill, which allows him to move an additional 3 blocks and pass through enemy formations, he poses a significant threat to defensive players. Additionally, it's worth noting that Andriole is accompanied by a new infantry mercenary capable of moving up to 5 blocks (I think this needs a nerf. While Andriole doesn't heavily rely on these mercenaries most of the time, they still come in quite handy). This makes him less susceptible to units with spearmen mercenaries. Furthermore, it can be challenging to deal with Andriole because he can revive himself when an ally to whom he has sworn an oath is within 3 blocks + has relatively robust mercenary stats and the new mercenaries can moderately withstand physical attacks. Nemia: Nemia is essentially Polyal + a potent assassin when facing a healer-less opponent. The unique terrain feature benefits all types of allies, including flying heroes, by nullifying mobility reduction and providing a 15% HP restoration. Conversely, for the opponent units, it deals a 15% fixed damage + applies a debuff that turns the terrain into water (which can be healed, similar to Juglar's AOE) that allows Nemia to carry out assassinations. When Nemia occupies her designated terrain (though the ones created by the opponent's Nemia are not applicable), she gains a +2 unit range, elevating her status as a formidable rush-oriented hero. However, it should be noted that in the current meta, the primary strategy should focus on her single-target 2C skill, rather than relying on her 3C AOE ability, which is mainly employed to impede the progress of enemy units (though its damage output may fall somewhat below expectations). Pairing her 2C skill with suitable gear also allows Nemia to effectively eliminate tanks like Lightbringer, making the task of assassinating a sturdy unit such as Berndhart manageable. image credits: 짤공장
