PDQ Tandem Surfline (HEB Fuel Edition) at HEB Fuel Gas Station in Floresville TX

Today I'm up at a local HEB fuel gas station and convenience store that's tied to the main grocery store in Floresville TX along US-181 (along Standish St), and I'm here to check out this fairly new PDQ Tandem Surfline. This system was installed in early 2023 to replace an old ProTouch Tandem that was installed in 2013, and that replaced a custom specked Laserwash G5-s that came with LaserDri dryers for a Laserwash 4000 instead of the Max Air dryers, so this makes it the 3rd system to be installed over the site's lifespan. For the most part, there's nothing entirely too special about this system other than the red brushes and custom graphics on both wash gantries, which mostly indicates that this is a much later system compared to other select HEB locations that replaced their systems (or built new sites) with Tandem Surfline's which don't have the custom gantry graphics, but it's nice to see another example that has them. I bought the top dollar car wash which comes out to $13.99, and wash quality I would give this a 8/10, undercarriage was very powerful out of this, the presoak application was kind of light (and I do love how the Surfline's address the issue with applying presoak along the top), the soft touch cycle went good for the most part with all of the brushes profile nicely (though the top brush didn't profile the best though since it was a bit light, but I do love how once it gets to the back, it immediately switches to the sprayers once it reaches the bed, being that this is a pickup truck being washed), the tri-foam pass went pretty good (though like the presoak pass, the side was a little light), the rinse pass went good, the wheel blasters and scrubbers did do great, clear coat protection went good, the lava wax did do great, the rinse cycle after that went good, and lastly the flash dry did good as usual (though I'm still not fully sold on the feature), and the drying pass going back forward did good. I hope you've enjoyed the video and stay tuned for more to come.
