ENIGMASH by Jack Lance [100% Walkthrough]

https://jacklance.github.io/PuzzleScr... I'm a letsplay youtuber now 0:04 - Intro 2:26 - NW Area (slidey blocks) 5:55 - SW Area (timing) + left tunnel 8:18 - NE Area (cyan/orange) 11:06 - SE Area (snakes) + right tunnel 13:51 - Home stretch + blue X 16:34 - Finale I used a couple undos but overall pretty obvious where they were. In the NW area you have to backtrack like I did I think because if you just go down you end up trapped in the initial area, which turned red as we left. You could remedy this by hopping back down there and changing it back to the slidey blocks area before moving to the sandy islands area but whatever In the SW area you definitely have to put the rocks in the water and backtrack since you have to approach the red block from the left. If you use the tunnel and hit it from the right the game tells you that it's a bad idea In the area at 12:04 you can become a snake and then backtrack out to the sandy islands part and then go back in and become an infinite snake and bypass the red+tan puzzle entirely. But the game tells you you're no fun if you do this The other popup I saw in this game is a warning to reset before exploring other areas since otherwise the game might autosave into a doomed state. It didn't happen in this video because I solved everything tho ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Couple funny things abt mechanics: In the red areas the only factor determining if you can push a block or not is whether the spot to its left or right is open. You can push and climb at the same time, and you can push blocks with blocks above them (and wear the blocks above as a hat), but not a row of two blocks. Pushing a block and climbing it use the same key, and pushing wins, so you can only climb a rock pushed up against a wall. You can't climb if it would bring you outside of the red area. You can jump by pushing up, but you fall right back down, so its only utility is to press an X or bring you into another area. In the cyan areas the direction of gravity depends on the direction you entered the area or hit the X from (the game leaves ambiguous what happens if the X is hit by a block, since it never happens). Blocks levitate, sliding only when pushed, headbutted, or if you stand on them. Blocks can only fuse if they are in an area with an X and they are contiguous when the X is hit. In the tan areas you are a snake. The head is you and everything else is blocks. If you walk into the tan area from a different area, you are a snake of infinite length, so you create blocks behind you. If you push a block into a tan area it appears as a dead snake head. Meanwhile, if an X is hit and turns the area tan, you are a snake of finite length. The length depends on the arrangement of preexisting blocks; it starts from you and then goes to an adjacent block, and stops whenever there's a choice of two or more adjacent blocks to snake backwards to. Anything not a part of you appears as a dead snake head. If you leave the area while being finite, the trail behind you disappears with each keystroke. As a snake not only is self-intersection disallowed, you also cannot go backwards, even if you are a snake of length 1, or if you just entered the area.
