A recent variation of the lottery scam occurred where culprits used SMS to lead victims into believing they had won the lottery, some of whom were foreign workers. Any person found to have knowingly allowed their bank accounts to be used by culprits as a conduit for victims to transfer funds to would be severely dealt with by the law.
